Form Meets Function
For this 2022 Waverly Hills project, the oversized lot provided the perfect opportunity to design a home with a deeper footprint, allowing BCN to create a layout that was tailored to the clients’ specific needs. One of the key requirements was a two-car garage, which was incorporated into the front of the home with a side-load design, providing function while maintaining curb appeal.
BCN created an L-shaped layout that allowed for ample living space and a seamless flow throughout the home. The main level was thoughtfully designed to include two offices, offering the flexibility the clients needed for work and productivity at home.
With an expanding family in mind, the priority was to create bedrooms for the children, ensuring comfort and privacy. The layout also emphasizes indoor-to-outdoor connectivity, with oversized windows and doors running along the rear of the house, providing direct access to the expansive backyard from the family room. This design creates a seamless transition between the indoor living spaces and the outdoor areas.
Throughout the home, beautiful trim details add a layer of sophistication and elegance, while the edgy yet timeless finishes create a modern aesthetic that will stand the test of time. This custom-built home is the perfect balance of thoughtful design and practical functionality, creating a space that truly works for the family’s needs and lifestyle.
